Year 7 curriculum

Year 7 is a year of foundations, confidence and schema building. Students develop the essential knowledge, vocabulary and routines needed to access more complex ideas as they move through school. They learn how subjects work, how knowledge is organised, and how to notice, name and explain ideas accurately. Through themes such as cause and effect, structure and pattern, rules and systems, and identity and belonging, this page outlines what students will learn, how subjects connect, and how we support them to grow academically, personally and socially.
