Transition Hub 2026

Welcome!

We are excited to welcome your family into our school community and support your child as they begin their journey with us. At Brannel, we are committed to Engineering Excellence, Capturing Creativity and Cultivating Community to ensure our learners feel supported, inspired, and ready to thrive.

We understand that the transition to secondary school can bring a mix of excitement and nerves, but rest assured, we are here to make the process as smooth as possible and help every learners settle happily into life at Brannel School.

Mr Muller-Forster, Headteacher

Our staff and learners are eagerly looking forward to meeting you over the coming months as you begin your transition to Brannel School. We take great pride in fostering a calm and supportive learning environment, ensuring you have the best opportunities to succeed.

You'll find our school warm and welcoming, and before long, you'll feel right at home. September will arrive before you know it, so I strongly encourage you to attend as many transition events as possible. These events will help you make new friends, meet your teachers, and familiarise yourself with the school before your official start.

This marks the beginning of an exciting journey where you'll grow and develop, and rest assured, my team and I will be here to support you every step of the way.

I truly believe that the more effort you put into school life, the more rewarding your experience will be, so my best advice is to get involved - join clubs, make new friends, and embrace the opportunities available to you.

Welcome to Brannel School, and thank you for choosing to join us. As a learner, you are expected to always work hard and give your best effort. We are committed to creating a happy and safe environment that fosters a love for learning.

At Brannel, we set high standards for behaviour, attendance, punctuality and appearance. Our learners are expected to be polite, respectful, and supportive of one another, wearing their uniform with pride.

Brannel School is a vibrant and inspiring place to learn, and I look forward to welcoming you into our community.

Mr Harris, Head of Year 7
