We understand that the examination period can be an important and sometimes challenging time for learners and their families. Our Exam Help & Support section provides a range of resources designed to help learners prepare, stay organised and approach their examinations with confidence.

You can access a selection of revision guides, advice sheets and other useful PDF resources below. We will continue to add new resources throughout the year, so please check back regularly for updates.

We are also committed to providing learners and families with opportunities to access information, advice and support beyond the classroom.

Our first exams event of the academic year was extremely successful and very well attended, with learners and families engaging positively with the information and guidance provided. We would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to making the event such a success.

Exam Help and Support

Post Results Services

Please click here to see the Brannel School Post Results Service Process.

Service 1 - Clerical Check

This service will include the following checks:

that all parts of the script have been marked;
the totalling of marks;
the recording of marks.

The outcome of the clerical re-check will be reported along with a statement of the total marks awarded for each unit, or component, included in the enquiry.

Service 2 - Review of Marking

This is a post-results review of the original marking to ensure that the mark scheme has been applied correctly.

A marking error can occur because of:

an administrative error;
a failure to apply the mark scheme where a task has only a ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ answer;
an unreasonable exercise of academic judgement.

The awarding body will train its reviewers to conduct reviews of marking accurately and consistently. Reviewers will not re-mark the script. They will only act to correct any errors identified in the original marking.

All Post Result Service requests must be made by the school. Awarding Bodies will not accept private requests.

We therefore require consent from candidates. A separate form must be completed for each paper/request.

The deadline for applying for these Post Results Services is the 24th September 2026.

For each request, you will be invoiced by Brannel School.
