Brannel School Sports Partnership

Inspiring active, healthy communities

The Brannel School Sport Partnership works with schools across the Clay areas to provide as many opportunities as possible for young people to take part in physical activity, develop their sporting skills and lead healthy, active lifestyles.

Working alongside local primary schools, the Partnership supports the delivery of high-quality PE, school sport and physical activity, helping create positive experiences that encourage young people to stay active and develop a lifelong interest in sport and wellbeing.

Working together to get young people active

The Brannel School Sport Partnership is a collaborative initiative focused on building a culture of physical activity and wellbeing across our local primary school community.

Through collaboration, innovation and a shared passion for sport, we work closely with partner schools to create inclusive and supportive opportunities for young people to participate in a wide range of physical activities.

The Partnership provides schools with access to resources, expertise and a network of experience, helping them develop and enhance their approach to PE, school sport and physical activity.

Our work is designed to ensure that every young person, regardless of their ability or background, has opportunities to:

  • Take part in a wide range of sports and physical activities

  • Develop their physical skills and confidence

  • Discover activities they enjoy

  • Experience positive and inclusive sporting environments

  • Represent their primary school

  • Develop teamwork, communication and resilience

  • Build healthy and active habits

Supporting our partner schools

We work closely with our partner schools to understand their needs and provide support that helps them make the most of opportunities in PE, school sport and physical activity.

By sharing knowledge, resources and expertise, we aim to strengthen provision across our local schools and create more opportunities for young people to be active.

Our partnership approach means that schools can work together, share experiences and provide opportunities that may not be possible independently.

Creating opportunities for every young person

We believe that physical activity should be accessible, inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.

Whether a young person is already passionate about sport or is taking part for the first time, our aim is to provide opportunities that help them develop confidence, discover new interests and enjoy being active.

Through our work with local primary schools, we are helping young people build positive experiences of physical activity that can continue throughout their lives.
